Remodel and rebrand of the Frye Art Museum store. BC.AD worked to challenge traditional notions of how a museum shop operates by blurring the lines between store and exhibit. By taking a calculated approach to follow creative intuition over traditional metrics, BC.AD was able to bring the struggling store from a financial deficit to surplus in less than a year. Careful curation, ever changing retail installations, and non-traditional marketing techniques have served to create a profitable and unusual spin on the traditional gift shop experience.
